What type of community are you used to? If you've a suburbanite, it's a good bet that you won't enjoy rural life. If you're a senior citizen, you may want to avoid busy communities with lots of young families and high school taxes.

In short you'll want to select a community that fits your personal life style, your income, and one that meets your needs in other ways.

Remember too, that some communities may have a wide range of restrictions which may hamper your life style -- everything from restricting overnight parking on your street or driveway, to limiting the hours when you you can mow your lawn.
